1. Who we are (data controller)

The data controller is Edufy Trading, a sole trader (PFA) established in Romania, operating the website edufytrading.com. For company or registration details, or any privacy request, contact us at contact@edufytrading.com.

2. What we collect

Analytics (first-party)

• Anonymous session and visitor identifiers, pages viewed, time spent active and which sections you engage with.
• Approximate location (country and city) derived from your IP at the network level — we do not store your full IP address.
• Device type, browser, operating system and traffic source.

This is measured with our own first-party analytics. We also use the Meta Pixel and Conversions API to measure advertising performance (see the Cookie Policy). We do not sell your data.

Purchase data

• Your email address, name and country, and order details. Payment card details are handled directly by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.

Messages you send us

• If you email us or use the contact form, we process the details you provide so we can reply and keep a record of the correspondence.

3. Why we use it (legal bases)

• Contract — to process your order, deliver the product and provide support.
• Legitimate interest — first-party analytics and advertising measurement (including the Meta Pixel and Conversions API) to understand, improve, secure and promote the website.
• Legal obligation — to keep invoicing and accounting records as required by law.

4. Who processes data for us

We rely on a small number of trusted third-party providers who process data on our behalf, strictly to run the service:

• Website hosting and content delivery.
• Database and secure file storage.
• Analytics buffering and rate limiting.
• Payment processing.
• Transactional email (your receipt and download link).
• Advertising measurement, only where you consent.

Each provider acts under a data-processing agreement and only for the purposes above. We're happy to share the specific providers on request at contact@edufytrading.com.

5. International transfers

Some processors may store or process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

6. How long we keep it

We keep analytics data only as long as it's useful for understanding site performance, and order/invoicing records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

7. Security

We use reputable providers and reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe over encrypted connections. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email contact@edufytrading.com. You also have the right to complain to the Romanian supervisory authority (ANSPDCP) or your local data-protection authority.

9. Children

Our products are intended for adults. The website and products are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
